I will remember my mom as a very caring and generous person. She was always there to help her kids and many others besides. She instilled in us that we would be going to college even though financially we had no right to expect to do so. Thanks for caring Mom. I love you.

My Granny Ruth was a very sweet and caring grandmother. I remember fondly of visiting her and Aunt Carolyn on the Iowa farm, many good memories of being a child in the summer in Iowa. She will be missed but the memories will continue for a long time still.

I will remember my mom for her kind nature and her strong faith. She always prayed for our whole family on a daily basis. She also had beautiful handwriting and would write out verses to comfort us and to memorize.
She was also always a willing listener and would offer lots of encouragement. She had a lot of pain the last years of her life so we are thankful she is now resting in Jesus. We look forward to seeing her again in heaven where she will be pain free and young again. We love and miss you Mom.

We will miss our Granny. She always prayed for us daily. I can remember when she came to visit us when we were children. She loved to take us on long walks. We would explore streams, enjoy nature and she would tell us stories about growing up on the farm. She had a beautiful smile and a kind, caring nature. We look forward to Jesus return and being together again.

What I want others to know about my Mother-in-law Ruth, is that she was always praying for me to have steady work. I always felt that she had some inside connection as I have had steady work when so many others in my trade have not. I will always be thankful for her prayers and generosity to us. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss of Dear Ruth! She was the most loving, kind, and prayerful person I have ever known. She was so giving to me to let me stay with her when I had the night shift in Illinois and needed a place to sleep in the day! We became fast friends and continued our friendship thru the years until the day she died! We were like "sisters" and I miss her already. To All the family: she is resting now awaiting the great Resurrection and we Will see her again! To Carolyn, Jerry, Barb, and Trisha be thankful she isn't hurting any more! Praise The Lord!!
